Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RingBack, an automated missed-call text-back service for home service businesses. By signing up for or using RingBack, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
RingBack provides a dedicated phone number that forwards calls to your business, automatically texts customers who couldn't reach you, and organizes their responses into leads on your dashboard. Availability of specific features may change as RingBack is improved over time.
Your Account
You must provide accurate information when signing up, including a working phone number and email address. You're responsible for keeping your dashboard password secure and for all activity under your account.
Billing & Cancellation
RingBack is billed monthly at the rate shown at signup. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard billing settings — you'll keep access through the end of your current billing period, with no long-term contract. New subscribers are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee as stated at signup.
Text Messages & Calls
By signing up, you consent to receive automated text messages and phone calls from RingBack related to your account — including setup instructions, missed-call lead alerts, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or contact us to close your account. Customers who text your RingBack number can also reply STOP to end that conversation at any time.
You're responsible for making sure your own use of RingBack to communicate with your customers complies with applicable telemarketing and text-messaging laws, including obtaining any consent your customers may need to give before you contact them for reasons beyond responding to their own missed call.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RingBack to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or unsolicited marketing messages, or to use the service for any business other than the legitimate home service business you signed up with.
Service Availability
RingBack depends on third-party providers (including Twilio, OpenAI, Stripe, and Supabase) to operate. While we work to keep the service reliable, we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and aren't responsible for outages or failures caused by these third parties.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
RingBack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to accurately relay and summarize customer messages, but we don't guarantee that every message will be delivered, received, or interpreted perfectly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RingBack is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost business or lost leads — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid RingBack in the 3 months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may cancel your account at any time as described above.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as RingBack changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use RingBack after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
